I certainly am. It's the prevalence of MVD that makes me so concerned about whether breeders test or not and at what ages. I know that there's no guarantee that a dog with clear parents and grandparents won't develop heart problems. I'm just interested in improving my odds. I don't know anyone who'd get a dog not caring if it died five or ten years before its time. I guess they exist but that doesn't justify tarring every pet owner with that particular brush.
