*******Vote on the issue of AKC dogs, alone. Then allow a period of time for those AKC only breeders that wish to register with the Club to do so. Then, after all the registrations, if the Club wants health testing to be mandatory for ALL Cavaliers within the CKCSC, USA, then add that. Adding the two concepts together just makes the whole idea overwhelming and convoluted. Break it down and take the issues one at a time. ***********
I agree. As a new member I think healing the riff between the CKCSC,USA and AKC is the most important issue. Get that done and all else can follow. I find this Old club/New club stuff distressing and very discouraging. It just seems to be about people and not about the breed. But then what do I know? I am new.
