To clarify your above statement, I think in other posts it has been
stated that it's not the leadership of the club, necessarily, at this
point - who are trying to keep the AKC from being an acceptable registry
from which to accept dogs for CKCSC registration. It is the majority of
CKCSC members who are not breeding and do not have to face the reality
of breeding decisions in the real world who are oppposed. It is their
vote which could cause the acceptance of the AKC registry to go down to
defeat.

Ethical breeders are ethical breeders no matter what affiliation they
have  -
or lack of it.   The more choices breeders have in determining the sires
and
dams of their future puppies will improve ALL the cavaliers available to
us - breeder and non-breeder alike.
