I wasn't on the list when the recent article in the AKc Gazette was published,
but it dealt with using Hawthorne to improve contractility of the heart and for
overall heart health. Is anyone on the list using this for their dogs with MVD? It
sounded safe, and probably would cause no harm, but I would like to know if anyone
else has any experience in using it. I have a 4 yr old with MVD, currently on no
meds, and am considering trying it to see if it could help strengthen her heart as
much as possible....I know Gil Jacobs told me that he thinks the CoEnzyme Q10 is
"voodoo medicine" and not to bother with it, but would like to know about
Hawthorne....(Yes, I'm also a Pet Owner)
