My wife and I went to watch the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel judging this weekend at the shows in West Springfield, MA. Our whippet, Barkley came with us. (But he wanted to see his buddies in the whippet ring.) We like the cavaliers but have a question. What are the pros and cons of getting a rescue Cavalier vs. a puppy? We also saw an ad in the Springfield paper for a Caviler puppy being sold for $1500. Is that the price for a puppy? We would never get a dog from someone selling an dog through the newspaper. Mike G.
