Personally, I would look carefully and ask a LOT of questions, but I'd talk to someone with an ad in a paper - they MIGHT have a lovely pup, just not a 'ready market' for their puppies for some reason - I would be VERY careful if their dog was imported - and would want to see DOCUMENTATION of health issues / clearances - and if the mother is under 2 yrs old, I'd 'walk on down the street' regardless of how cute the babies were ... Just my thoughts as I read your post - But, I tend to not close a door before looking at what I'm closing ...
