Robin,

Thank you for voicing your experience in the "ring". This year I
volunteered to help at the Cavalier show in Boxboro, MA ith Kathy Conrad.
I called my friends frantic "what do I do" They all said "don't worry,
they will tell you" I can attest to the stage fright I felt the first time
I stepped into the ring.

Fortunately, Kathy was very gracious and by the end of the day I was
beginning to get the hang of it. Your commentary made me laugh and brought
back memories of my own experience. Everyone has to have a first time.
The feeling you come away with can be a good one or "I will never do this
again!" I had a great time as I am sure you did. I would love to do it
again and hope that each time I will get better and better. With
experience comes confidence. I had a patient teacher (Kathy, who I am sure
was rolling her eyes at times) and along with the outside steward I had a
wonderful day as well as managing to have some fun. Being able to laugh at
your self is a great thing. Thank goodness I could laugh at my lack of
experience. The only thing more comical was my husband jumping up and down
handing the prizes to the Judge.

You brought some levity to what I considered to be a real serious job.
Thank you for your take on the stewarding thing.

Sharona
