Book of the Bitch is good, and so is Canine Reproduction. I also like the video,
Special Delivery by Fawn Run Corporation. It has the panel of breeders at the end,
and shows an actual birth.
Another good book is Breeding a Litter by Harris; also Successful Dog Breeding by
Walkowicz and Wilcox; and The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies by Muriel Lee.
Dogwise - boy, it would be fun to go in there! One could spend a paycheck easily!
As Cynthia said, one of your best resources will be having another breeder ready to
help if necessary, and a vet on call.
