This is a question to which I would like the answer as well, because in attemping to decide whether or not to add Omega 6 fatty acid coat type supplements, I have worried about the added A and E. The food which I feel already has additional Omega 3 and 6 (seems most high grade foods do today), and if one supplements at all with a coat conditioner, Missing Link or a vitamin it is conceivable that too much A and/or E is being fed.
The problem which I see is that I'm not sure that NRC, Waltham Center or any other entity has come out with minimum/maximum requirements for such that are applicable today. Perhaps there are nutritionists around who know the answer to this? thanks, Suze (who also wonders about feeding added sardines) Linda Berman wrote: >>>B6 is safe.
