Pam, they can help over the phone by giving advice about how to get out a puppy that seems to be stuck, when to feather your girl so she'll have contractions and other such problems. They also send a prescription for a variety of meds to your vet, he//she fills the prescription, and then the WhelpWise nurses can tell you when/if you need to administer a shot of something.
