Thanks for the clarification, Susan.
What I now hear you saying is that dogs can be intolerant to certain
proteins or have an intolerance to a level of protein. I guess the
first I would call an "allergy/intolerance" and the second I might still
call an quantitative intolerance to protein. This was my understanding
of it as well.
