I remembered this being discussed on one of the lists a long time ago and
started doing a little research.  This is what I've come up with.  The
condition is stomatitis - I can't remember the first word - I think it is
eosinophilic stomatitis.  A Board certified internist first asked mentioned
this to a friend of mine years ago, and since then she has heard of several
Cavaliers with this condition.  The internist suspects it is another
Cavalier problem.  It is hard to diagnose and hard to clear up.  I think
treatment is corticosteroids, or possibly long-term antibiotics.  They
suspect an autoimmune problem is behind the condition.
