The Petland store in my mall has small, medium, large and giant breeds--all the time. They put the smaller ones at one end (where people walk into the store)--2 or 3 to a cage. They get bigger as you walk down the line. Giant breeds are at the other end. I think there are maybe 2/3 breeds or less that will stay under 40 lbs. at maturity and 1/3 or more that will go over 40 lbs. at maturity. Labs, goldens, shepherds, husky type breeds, boxers and danes predominate. They had a clown-faced female Cavalier about a month ago. She disappeared in about a week.
My mom walks the mall almost every day and tells me whenever they have a Cavalier. Luckily it is usually not more than once a year. However due to the fact that the latest one disappeared so quickly, I am worried they will show up more often.
