Dog Club of America. They have contacted all AKC specialty breed clubs asking them to join them in a coalition to continue to support the work of the current lobbyist in place. The lobbyist has been working with the USDA and other federal agencies to get them to better enforce the regulations that govern animal breeding locations and sales, such as dog auctions. If you are interested in helping this effort, please contact your AKC breed club and ask them to support the BMDCA lobbyist effort. If enough of us band together, we can make our voice heard. However, no single breed can do it alone. There is also a fund, called Light One Candle, dedicated to supporting this lobbyist effort.
