I've had AKC judges request "No bait while the dog is on the table." But none has ever said nix to it while they were on the ground. As the owner of a show girl whose motto is "Will work for FOOD," this rule would really cramp our style! Also I've had judges who keep a toy or clicker in their hand to get the dog's attention. How is that different?
