Hi, I am trying to connect to CKRM IRC channel and finding some problem. Please help.
I am using Xchat 2.4.0 on RHEL 4. When I try to connect to irc.oftc.net , the xchat window keeps on trying to connect with the following message. Python interface loaded Perl interface loaded * Looking up irc.oftc.net * Connecting to irc.oftc.net (161.53.160.99) port 6667... I am able to ping the server, but xchat does not connect. I have not set any server password, Nickserv password, connect command etc. Is there anything I am missing ? I dont think we have a proxy server in our network. So I also tried connecting without a proxy. Could anybody please help me on this ?
