Hi Maeda,

as you know we have been delivering the memory controller
for some months. All these versions are for the E and F series.

I mean that we take the new framework of res_groups into
consideration and that we begin thinking how a new
memory rc can be less intrusive in the code and
more easily maintanable.

Of course we will discuss that in this list as the
goal is to reach the acceptance of the community
and share the work when possible (as you and
Valérie already did for example  ;-) ).

Talk to you soon.

There's a VM minisummit in Ottawa July 16 (organised by Martin Bligh). I
have asked that this RSS management problem be placed on the agenda.

Is it an invited based meeting as the kernel-summit? Or can anyone who
interested in this area attend the VM mini-summit?

It's a fairly informal meeting set up by Martin Bligh - I think google is
sponsoring it. I expect Martin still has some room available - please
contact him.

Thanks Andrew. I will contact Martin.

How about Bull folks, Jean-pierre? Bull folks seem to have an idea
to improve the CKRM memory controller. It would be a good opportunity
to share the idea.

Thanks,
MAEDA Naoaki
