My System: Linux RH 7.3 sendmail 8.11.6-15 Ensim Pro installed
This is the error I get on /var/log/clamav/clamd.log when I run ./clamd Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 -> +++ Started at Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 -> Log file size limited to 3145728 bytes. Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 -> Verbose logging activated. Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 -> Running as user clamav (UID 101, GID 11) Sat Apr 17 23:19:22 2004 -> Reading databases from /usr/local/share/clamav Sat Apr 17 23:19:23 2004 -> Protecting against 21075 viruses. Sat Apr 17 23:19:23 2004 -> ERROR: Socket file /var/run/clamav/clamd.sock could not be bound: Permission denied /var/run/calmav is owned by clamav (user & group) Any ideas?
