Ok, Nigel, this is my status: I uninstalled and reinstalled the whole package and now clamd is working fine... clamdscan works clamd.log is logging fine also LocalSocket on clamav.conf is /tmp/clamd After this, I went ahead and enabled clamav-milter using ./configure --enable-milter --sysconfdir=/etc make make install The process seamed to work fine, or at least I did not get any error messages. I modified and restarted sendmail, but when trying to start clamav-milter I get this error: [EMAIL PROTECTED] /usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter -lo /var/run/clmilter.sock bash: /usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter: No such file or directory I checked on /usr/local/sbin and there is nothing for clamav-milter, though in /usr/local/bin I see clamdscan, clamscan, freshclam and sigtool, but no clamav-milter either. On the other hand, /usr/local/man/man8/clamav-milter.8 exists, so where is clamav-milter?? Am I missing something?
