I agree but with this caveat - if an upgrade breaks the ability of an earlier version (one or two revisions back) to read the pattern file I'd like to know that sooner than later. I monitor the freshclam logs but they do not advise you (at this time) that pattern file formats will break the previous revision and that is very important to know. I generally upgrade within a day or two of benign revisions (based on my reading of the change log), depending upon how close to a weekend they occur, but I'd interupt sex to correct a version that is broken by a newer release. With that said I realize I've not yet contributed financially to this effort and I've no reason to expect better service than provided. I'll correct that and also try have my employer chip in, but I'll still have no reason to expect better service as it is quite good as offered. There are very few services that save your ass a couple hundred to thousands of times a day like this one and it's well worth any minor inconvenience. It would be nice, though, if there was a PayPal button on the site :-) -- dp irh.com: The finest traditional Hawaiian music, 24/7/365. Sharing the gift of aloha around the world for over 10 years.
