I've been googling around and seeing many different clues related to
permissions, but nothing that seems to apply correctly. Before I go
fubar my install I was hoping someone may have solved this on OSX?
Try running "sudo freshclam" instead and enter your password when
prompted (must be run from and administrator's account).
Thanks Robert: I am running it with sudo...I get the error either way :(
