But, another way to tell (I hope). In my clamd.conf (which I have in
/usr/local/etc/ but yours could be elsewhere is:
# Run as another user (clamd must be started by root for this option to work)
# Default: don't drop privileges
User _amavisd
See if you have a User directive in your clamd.conf.
