I agree with all the points you and RMS have written. But, as I see
it, Sun is not claiming that Jini is Free Software. They say it is
Open Source, which just means they're willing to provide source code
That's not what the Open Source Definition says.
The official definition of "Open Source" is approximately
equivalent to the definition of free software.
Jini's license does not fit the Open Source Definition.
This example and other similar ones show that the term "open source"
opens the door to confusion.
