classpath vs. libgcj?

I just recently discovered Classpath, so pardon me if I'm a bit behind
on events ... but what is really going on between Classpath & libgcj? 
I've been testing Classpath against Mauve, and fixing bugs that have
already been fixed in libgcj.  Which direction does the code flow
between the two projects, or is there a flow?
