The Indiana installation process is currently done off of a r/w ramdisk,
which is treated as an actual disk.  Booting off of the DVD in order to
install is just like booting the real OS.  There is no netboot at all
("yet" as Meem pointed out).  So, for Indiana installs, one would see
"net#" interfaces, but since the installation media is different from
what you're booted off of, those "net#" interfaces might be enumerated
differently once booted off of the installed media...
