First issue I had was with the Cassandra update, that seemingly didn't update
its own database, so I had to wipe out the whole folder manually, otherwise the
Cassandra daemon wouldn't start.
Second, the provisioning scripts for CW didn't work anymore because of the
missing initial tables, which are created by the post-installation CW scripts.
I gave up when seeing in the logs something about wrong invocation of cqlsh in
the post-installation scripts, as I simply didn't want to spend ages in who
knows how many other problems down the road :-). (cqlsh changed syntax from
version to version ? -- AFAICR it was complaining about a "-3" ?!?)
May I ask what is, instead, the correct procedure to ensure that all CW binary
components are up-to-date on each machine ?
I'm giving a try to "apt-get update; apt-get install clearwater-infrastructure
(bono|sprout|homestead|homer)", but just to be sure that I didn't forget to
update smth important.
Thanks.
