Thanks Matt, It is working, I can access the ellis and I created an account and I registered the user successfully.
Now I am trying with Zoiper, for another client. Hopefully I will be able to make a call between these two. Thanks again, I will try to explore more feature in all in one. (Port 8080 is only relevant when using NAT, and you're not, so you should use port 80.) Assuming you are connecting to port 80, please can you check your OpenStack configuration to ensure that port 80 is open in your security groups? Presumably you can ssh into the Clearwater node? If you can't ssh in, there's probably a wider IP problem here and you'll need to investigate that first - OpenStack networking is quite complicated! If you can ssh in but port 80 is still not working and it's not down to security groups, I'd suggest running "tcpdump -s0 -A tcp port 80" on the Clearwater node and retrying the connection from your browser. If you see TCP SYN packets but no response, this is a Clearwater/ellis issue. If you don't see TCP SYN packets, I think this is an OpenStack network configuration issue (although I'm not sure I can advise on what - as I say, OpenStack networking is complicated). I hope that helps, Matt -----Original Message----- From: Binu Kiliamkavunkal Govindan -X (bkiliamk - Tech Mahindra at Cisco) [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 20 March 2014 19:10 To: Matt Williams Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: Clearwater All-in-one image Hi Matt, Thanks, I have requested the subscription on the mailer list. Please approve. I have successfully installed the image on the openstack. I can access the VM instance and SSH into it. But when I try to access the ellis by pointing my browser to the < hostname -I> it doesn't succeed. Appreciate if you could shed some light.. Yes, you can then instantiate it under OpenStack and then follow the instructions under https://github.com/Metaswitch/clearwater-docs/wiki/All-in-one%20OVF%20Installation#running-and-using-the-image to access it. I hope that helps - please let us know how you get on. Incidentally, please can you join the mailing list (at http://lists.projectclearwater.org/listinfo/clearwater)? Then you will be able to send messages to the list without us needing to approve each one individually. If you downloaded the OVA more than a week or so ago, you might have a different checksum number. If you pull down the latest version, do you get the same checksum numbers? Which OS/OpenStack combination are you running? QEMU V1.0 dates back to 2011 and I believe there have been some significant functional steps forward since then. As a work-around, you might be able to spin up a VM (e.g. based on Ubuntu 12.04), install the latest qemu-img on it and use it to convert the disk image. I hope that helps. Is it possible that you're running a different version of qemu-img? Mine identifies itself as version 1.5.0. Alternatively, is it possible that your cw-aio.ova download failed, or the unpack operation was not clean? My cw-aio.ova has MD5 checksum 51e492aea8152bf1f68539fa6a3b242f and my cw-aio-disk1.vmdk has MD5 checksum 587dbdd5afc9455b9ac1c6a49fc38aa4. Do yours match? Please can you check these? If you still can't convert the image, I might be able to upload my one somewhere, but it's pretty large (~2.4GB) and it would be good to get to the bottom of this issue. I hope that helps - please let me know how you get on.
