Ashish, When I added hss_realm to my configuration, the connection to my external HSS stopped working immediately. Based on the log messages in the homestead log, I added the following entries into my DNS:
_diameter._tcp IN SRV 0 0 3868 hss hss IN A 192.168.253.1 As soon as I added those, the connection between homestead and the external HSS came right up.
