Hi, In your set up, you've set the (optional) hss_realm, so Homestead attempts to do a NAPTR/SRV lookup for developingsolutions.com. This fails as there are no NAPTR/SRV records, so Homestead is unable to set up the connection to the HSS.
If you can't add the NAPTR/SRV records for the hss_realm, then you should just configure the hs_hostname setting - e.g.: # HSS configuration hss_hostname=50.50.13.100 hss_port=3868 This means Homestead will create (and maintain) a single connection to the HSS at 50.50.13.100. Ellie One other thing - I've noticed you're not signed up to the mailing list. This means your mails to the list do not automatically get posted. Would you be able to sign up please? You can do this by following the link from http://www.projectclearwater.org/community/. -----Original Message----- From: Thomas J. Based on the log messages in the homestead log, I added the following entries into my DNS: _diameter._tcp IN SRV 0 0 3868 hss hss IN A 192.168.253.1 As soon as I added those, the connection between homestead and the external HSS came right up.
