After installing Linux Peppermint 10 I used the Software Manager to install Clementine. In the "About Qt" window it says this program uses Qt version 4.8.7.
My problem is that when I insert a CD none of the tags are displayed - artist, album, track title, etc. Nor can I see a way to manually import these tags. If I right-click on one of the tracks and select "Edit track information" everything in the window that appears is grayed out so I can't select the "Edit tags" tab. In some videos that I found online this should get me to a point where I could import the tag data from MusicBrainz or some such. So first question - I was expecting that when I insert the CD the tag data would be retrieved automatically via the internet. Is this something that Clementine should be able to do?
