At first I thought of course, but on second thoughts...
I've never used it to play an actual cd.

You cant edit the track information because it isn't a writeable media.

I would use a program (maybe Asunder) to rip the cd to the Music folder
on the hard drive and then play them via Clementine, which is what
Clementine as a library database, is designed to do. While it can rip
cd's internally, I have always preferred external software for this
myself.

If you follow this course you can rip your cd's once and then store
them to prevent any handling damage.

If you can't get Asunder (or relatives) to find your cd online and fill
in the tracks it is time to start asking questions (do you have the
internet connected - is it a popular enough cd to have an online
listing) and if Asunder etc, can't find _any_ of your cd's maybe ask on
Peppermints user forum which is generally accesible from chromiums (the
internet browser used by peppermint) opening page (duckduckgo search
engine - the forum used to be listed under the search bar IIRC).
