My situation involves the use of 4 different operating systems on one
computer, three Linux, one Windows. I have a dedicated secondary hard
drive space with my music collection on a fat 32 formatted partition.
The music directory is used by all four operating systems to access music
to be used within the media players of each operating system. I switch
between various media players as described in my first post here in each
different operating system. As a result I have to keep the directory of
music used as a library constant for all media players. If I change the
directory organization to make one media player work the way I want the
others may become flawed. Therefore I need to go with a type of
organization of the directory in a structure that works best for the most
amount of media players. Unfortunately the directory structure that
works best for the most amount of media players creates this flaw with
Clementine.
