This is so cool. Your timing couldn't be better. I was in the middle of 
rereading your middleware articles when these came through. I'm actually doing 
something backwards to this.

I have a legacy Rails app I'm plopping a re-frame app on. I don't want to 
recreate validation on the client-side, but rather talk to the server first, 
get results and update app-db accordingly. Something like *before* but does get 
to alter the db depending on what comes back from the server.
