No, this is nothing to do with your LVM. I think it's something about
the repository with pigz.
We prompted some of the testing and unstable programs into stable
branch, so maybe you can give it a try with your command:
create-debian-live -d lenny -b testing -i customized -a firmware-bnx2
or
create-debian-live -d lenny -b stable -i customized -a firmware-bnx2

Please let us know your results.
