Has anyone considered modifying clonezilla to be able to restore a
machine from tar images? Should it be difficult to add a way to
provide the partition/filesystem info, then have it create new
filesystems? I'd like to have something that could work directly with
the backups that backuppc can produce with the BackupPC_tarCreate
command (which are tar files created on demand from its more efficient
online storage format).
