In this case, you should see an error in red:
"No source partition table file was assigned!"
when you restoring the image. Didn't you see that ?
To use "-k1", there must exist such a sda-pt.sf file so it can be a 
reference to create proportional partition table.
Maybe something went wrong when you saved an image ? Normally no matter 
which advanced options you choose, a sda-pt.sf should be created. Please 
try to save it again.
BTW, "-j3" is no more for a long time... Which version of Clonezilla 
live are you using now ?
