With the file hda2.dd, you can use command like: dd if=hda2.dd of=/dev/hda2 to restore the image to /dev/hda2. Replace /dev/hda2 with yours. ///NOTE/// The dd command will overwrite everything on the target partition, so be very careful, and better to backup important data before you use that.
