I want to second what Bob said....

I've been using clonezilla-live for at least two years. In my shop, we
use it in two main ways: We create standard builds of computer models
that we frequently buy, and use those images to restore to newly
purchased machines.

Secondly, we do periodic backup images for various people in the department.

We have an "image server" with 2TB of disk space where we store these
images. We create and restore the clonezilla images over the network.
Almost all of these are Windows machines, both XP and Win7.

My previous experiences cloning computers was with Powerquest Drive
Image, which was later bought out by Symantec and pretty much killed in
favor of Ghost.

I wanted an open source solution, and found clonezilla. I realized
early on that it is not for someone who expects a simple point-and-click
interface. But I read the docs and didn't have any trouble
understanding how to use it.

Clonezilla works reliably for us, and continually gets better. I
greatly appreciate the work of the development team.
