Technically, VHD is VHD is VHD. I've imported hyper-v generated VHDs directly as templates in CS and have had them successfully deploy on my XS cluster.
Likewise, I have downloaded root disk volumes from CS deployed HVM VMs and ran them in Virtualbox. As for the Ubuntu template, I have a 12.04 64bit template I am willing to share, just need to figure out where to distribute it. Works happily in XS 5.6 SP2 in PV mode. I have tested it and it behaves with the virtual router (DHCP leasing) and it has the cloud password generation script along with the XS guest tools. I believe there is an Ubuntu template available in the forums. http://cloudstack.org/forum/9-templates-and-isos/352-ubuntu-1004-templates-available.html?limit=6&start=6 Sent from my iPhone On May 31, 2012, at 8:05 PM, Anthony Xu <xuefei...@citrix.com> wrote: > That might be a separate problem, > > I suspect XenServer VHD might not be compatible with virtualBox VHD.
