Yipes indeed! However, I have long maintained privacy to be a myth. Unless you are putting a lot of work into it, I don't think there will be much of a change. If you are putting any work into it, it's just one more step to take.

Like others have pointed out our data is collected and sifted already.

Anyway, I found a refreshing link today on the register that might give people a little perpective.
