Jesse, It's been a whole couple o' weeks since I last installed Mandrake, but if memory serves, after you do the partitioning wizard (during which you set the mount points for each partition that you want Mandrake to put into fstab), and click Done, the next window that comes up shows all the partitions that you have set up, with a radio button beside each one, and that is where you pick which ones to format and which ones to leave alone. Selected means format it, not selected means don't touch it.
