I am using LPD that listens on 515. After fiddling and banging my head, I came to some point worth troubleshooting. At this point I am left with error msg "Don't have permissions" when tried to print from client machine. I guess I need to tweak /etc/lpd.perms file.
Any input on 'printtool' utitlity in RH? Read on google groups that 'printtool' would help to some extent. Thanks for all input/expertise. ----- Original Message ----- From: Trevor Lauder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tuesday, October 22, 2002 10:46 pm Subject: Re: (clug-talk) printing & firewall > LPD uses 515 by default, CUPS uses 631 by default.
