Is anyone aware of any NFS client/server settings,
or maybe its a mount setting, that would address lockups/hangs
in graphical file manager clients like Konqueror or Nautilus, when a mounted NFS export goes down. I mount numerous NFS exports on a few of my main machines and cluster Mosix nodes and when I have a file manager open, and the directory for mounted nfs exports is open, and one of the machines mounted goes down or is rebooted, then the file manager client hangs hard and unless the mounted machine goes back up, or I unmount the export, I must kill the process for the file manager. ________________________________________
