Hello everyone,

I want to thank Kevin Anderson for showing up at the Computer Recycling
Society (CRS) and for giving some beautiful recommendations for installing
a Linux server.

The CRS decided that it needs three firewalls installed with Linux and it
was suggested that they could be installed during the next Installfest at
their warehouse.

A tentative date for the Installfest will be Saturday November 16. I'll
re-post a reminder with details as we approach that date. The CRS manager
also reminded me that he does welcome any workshops that any of us may
want to present at the warehouse.

I am thrilled to say that we have passed the stage of having our foot in
the door. The CRS has been experimenting with Linux and is starving for
direction. My hope is that we not only will be able to give them this
but that both groups will be able to work together to achieve some great
projects.

For our first project, get ready to pen the word "Installfest" on your
calendars for November 16.

Cheers!
