i've always wondered what people need palm support in their email client for. 
i suppose you could read your email on it, but ... well ... replying would be

evolution is broken in a few humorous ways w/regards to attachments. hopefully 
they will fix things during the port to gtk2? *shrug*

if you are using the addressbook from KDE3, it is in vCard format. evolution 
can import that just fine.

sorry to hear you're having so many other problem with evolution though :-/
