I also just checked the list and found hundreds of swinger/adult links? and my own entry (Johnny Stork) has been mysteriously removed? Possibly a bit more control over the editing of content on this page would prevent some obvious abuses from occuring. I for one am VERY concerned and agree with Holger regarding his comments about what is on that page, and that member names are being removed. This is a VERY poor example of a Calgary Open Source and Linux advocacy group and I would need to distance myself from the group in my own efforts to promote Linux and Open Source if the group cannot present a more professional image. Is there any tracking in place to determine who is removing members names or posting all those adult links? > > > -----Original message----- > From: "Holger Heckel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: 12/01/2002(Sun) 10:42am > Subject: (clug-talk) Membership List > > Hi all, > > just checked out the CLUG membership list on the web and I'm a little > concerned about the quality of some links that I found. > > I'm not sure, if some of these links (www.swingerz.ca, > www.calgaryadultplayground.ca etc) are useful in promoting open source > solutions for the corporate world. > > Holger. > > Holger M.
