Just a suggestion, but you could even try asking the system admin where you
work (unless it's you).  Most places have a bunch of these collecting dust
now.   I know we sure do.  VPNs have pretty much taken over for dial-up
connections.

Heck From where I sit, I can see a 3com (US Robotics) 56K faxmodem still new
in the box...

I'm not allowed to sell them though.  I already tried.

I've certainly given away mice and keyboards to employees who needed 'em.
Chances are your Sys Admin would too.
