# sndconfig as roo start the command, it should automatically detect and configure your sound card.
Xconfigurator should be your friend if the screen resolution defaults to 640x480. Also should run as root. You normally should NOT use your Linux computer as root, that would be unwise. Cheers !!! Happy New Year !!! Szemir
