Take a look at the PC Weasel from http://www.realweasel.com/ It will allow you to connect to your machine and power cycle it, even if its hung, because the board only needs power from the PCI bus. It also can act as a watchdog, and will power cycle the machine if the OS fails to tickle the weasel to let it know the OS is alive (there are linux watchdog drivers). It can also allow you remotely access to the BIOS and boot sequence. The company, Middle Digital, is a local one who I _used_ to work for. Dave
