If you have the cash, Compaq makes a Remote Insight Card that is unbeatable.
I can currently make changes even to the BIOS of a server, all remotely. Power on, Power off, etc is pretty easy. Actually, I can even remotely load a floppy disk, It's a bit of a pain to create the virtual disk, but once created, you're golden. I'm not sure if they work in Non-Compaq equipment, but Dell has similar cards, and I would expect most manufacturers do. Kev. ----- Original Message ----- From: "J.
